Ministries

First EPC is a diverse family of folks of all ages and from all backgrounds and interests. We try to make our ministry offerings meet the needs as best we can.

Children -  Here at First EPC we value kids and believe they are loved by God. We believe that they have special and unique role in the life of the church and we are committed to meeting kids right where they are and helping them grow up in the Lord. We offer a variety of ways that we seek to just that.

Vacation Bible School - Every year we offer Vacation Bible School for kids through 5th grade. This is a super fun time for kids to spend a part of each day for a week in the summer playing games, singing, and hearing kid-friendly messages from the Bible.

Youth -  The First EPC family loves, appreciates, supports and is committed to the youth of this community. An active youth leadership team along with several qualified volunteers is devoted to leading the youth of our church and community into a deeper, relevant relationship with Jesus Christ. Our youth ministry style is relational and we welcome kids from all walks of life. Our activities such as evening meetings, Sunday School, trips and retreats are a positive, relationally based way of connecting youth to each other through the person of Jesus Christ. The ministries we plan as well as our trips are designed to connect with kids who have a variety of exposure to Christianity.

Our youth ministry is divided into two age groups - Jr. and Sr. High. All 6-8 grade students are welcome to attend our Jr. High Ministries. In addition to special activities, the Jr. High meets seasonally on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. We eat together, play games, and have a short Bible based lesson relevant to today's Jr. High student. In addition, the Jr. highers go to The EDGE, a dynamic, energetic, intense time of fun and spiritual development. There are also regular get togethers for fun and fellowship.

Our Senior High Ministry offers Sunday School, mission trips, retreats and get togethers of many different types all designed to foster significant relationships.

Women's Association -  The FEPC Women's Association is a service and fellowship organization that dates back many decades in the history of our church.

We are a group of First EPC ladies who meet from 1:00 - 3:00pm in the church library the second Wednesday of each month to enjoy fellowship, to study, and to serve others in the church as well as those in the community in the name of Jesus.

All women who attend First EPC regularly are welcome to join the Women's Association.
