Jerry has served as Interim Pastor at First EPC since June,
2016.
Prior to coming to First EPC, Jerry served as Interim Pastor at
Highland Heights EPC in Cordova, TN from September, 2014 to July,
2015, as Pastor of Faith EPC in Rochester Hills, MI from 2002 to
2014, as Assistant/Associate Pastor of Faith EPC from 2000 to 2002,
as Associate Pastor of Central EPC in St. Louis, MO from 1995 to
2000, and as Pastor of Christ Chapel EPC in St. Louis, MO from 1994
to 1995.
Jerry holds degrees from the University of Michigan – Bachelor of
Arts in Physics and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering,
as well as a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity
School.
Jerry's passions:
The faithful preaching of the Word of God and the pastoring of
Christ’s church, the sharing and spreading of the Gospel of Jesus
Christ, and time spent with family.
On the future of First EPC: I have accepted the position of
Interim Pastor at First EPC, because of its long heritage of
proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in all of its truth and
worshipping the One True God in joy and faithfulness. Clearly, God
has blessed and used this church mightily for 150 years, and we
believe that He will bless and use this church increasingly in the
years ahead.

Hobbies and Interests:
Golf (more interest than skill), reading, travel, listening to
classical music.
Family:
Wife for 51 years, Barb; daughter, Lisa; son, Scott; son-in law
Brian, and last but by no means least, granddaughter, Samantha.
